Mayor's London Borough of Culture 2023/24 Closing Weekend - Croydon Remix

A look back on the closing weekend of Croydon's year as the Mayor's London Borough of Culture 2023. 6,000 people came together to celebrate across 22-24 March as well as 380+ artists, creative team members and local people who made it happen.

In the final performance of the weekend, Young Croydon Composers collaborated with Croydon Music & Arts orchestras & choirs and Croydon Academy of Eastern Arts singers along with special guest musicians Arun Ghosh and Dede Davi. They also performed three specially commissioned pieces for ‘This Is Croydon’ London Borough of Culture 2023-2024 composed by award-winning musicians Shri Sriram & Dennis Rollins MBE.
